Boiler help for your home's heating system

We install, replace, repair and service gas boilers across Niagara and Hamilton, including Stoney Creek and Ancaster. A boiler heats water for a heating system; its sizing, controls and connections need to suit the home and the system it serves.

Installation, repairs and seasonal boiler service

Tell us about the equipment and the heating problem. We confirm the visit scope and availability for your system before booking.
  • New boiler or replacementAssess heating needs, existing radiators or other distribution, gas supply, venting, controls and the work required before selecting equipment.
  • No heat or repeated shutdownsA boiler that will not heat or repeatedly stops needs diagnosis. Share any displayed code and symptoms so the visit can be discussed.
  • Uneven heat or pressure concernsCold areas, unusual pressure changes, noises or visible leaks can involve the boiler or the wider heating system. Assessment comes before a repair recommendation.
  • Seasonal maintenanceArrange service appropriate to the model and system. We confirm included inspection/cleaning work, visit pricing and any additional repairs separately.

Repair the fault or plan a boiler replacement?

A breakdown does not automatically call for a new boiler. We consider the fault, overall condition, available parts, proposed repair cost and how well the system meets your heating needs.

  • What failed and whether the fault can reasonably be repaired.
  • The condition of the boiler and connected heating components.
  • The cost and availability of suitable repair parts.
  • Whether a replacement can work with the existing distribution and controls.

An equipment efficiency rating alone does not establish savings in your home. The installation, heating-system design and operating conditions matter; the quote should explain the proposed setup.

What happens when you contact us

  1. 1

    Describe your system

Share your city, the symptoms and the model if known. Let us know whether the boiler also supplies domestic hot water.

  2. 2

    Confirm assessment or service

Discuss installation assessment, diagnostic or maintenance scope, appointment availability and any applicable visit fees.

  3. 3

    Review the findings and quote

Understand the diagnosis or proposed equipment, the heating connections involved, included work and price before approval.

  4. 4

    Complete and explain

Complete agreed work, appropriate checks and a walkthrough of controls, care instructions and applicable coverage.

What your boiler installation quote should explain

A replacement must suit the connected heating system; the quote should identify the full scope.

  • Boiler and sizing: Selected equipment, proposed capacity and the heating needs considered during assessment.

  • System connections: Venting, gas supply, pumps, valves, pipework and controls included or requiring separate work.

  • Testing and handover: Agreed removal, installation checks, controls setup and operating instructions.

  • Price and coverage: Taxes, exclusions, timing, workmanship coverage and separate equipment manufacturer warranty terms.

What affects gas boiler installation and repair costs?

Installation is quoted after assessing the home and connected heating system. Repair pricing follows diagnosis. We confirm diagnostic or maintenance fees before booking rather than representing a service visit as a free installation estimate.

Equipment and heating needs

Boiler type, selected model, capacity and any domestic-hot-water arrangement affect the proposal.

Venting and gas supply

Existing connections and the work required for the proposed equipment affect the installed scope.

Heating-system components

Pumps, valves, zones, controls and pipework may need attention beyond the boiler itself.

Access, repair parts and service scope

Equipment access, fault complexity, part availability and agreed maintenance tasks affect the total.

We explain visit fees before booking and agree the work and price before proceeding.

Coverage in writing

Understand installation and repair coverage

Your quote explains applicable installation workmanship coverage and the manufacturer's equipment warranty separately. For repairs, any applicable parts and labour coverage is explained with the work. Installation coverage does not automatically cover an unrelated service visit.

Renovation Xperts Group is a TSSA registered heating contractor. The people doing the work must hold the qualifications appropriate to its scope.

Care and maintenance

Plan service before you rely on heating

Follow the boiler manufacturer's maintenance instructions and discuss annual professional checks for gas equipment. Tell us about pressure changes, leaks, new noises or changes in heating. Maintenance identifies concerns; it cannot guarantee that no component will fail later.

Frequently asked questions

What should I do if I smell gas or hear a CO alarm?

Leave the building and call 911 from outside. For a suspected gas leak, you can also call Enbridge Gas Ontario at 1-866-763-5427. Do not wait for an online reply.

Do you install, repair and service gas boilers?

Yes. Tell us about your existing boiler, the connected heating system and the work you need. We confirm equipment suitability, the agreed scope and service availability before booking.

Is a boiler the same as a furnace or hot water tank?

No. A furnace distributes heated air, while a boiler heats water for a heating system. A separate water heater supplies household hot water. Some boiler arrangements also provide domestic hot water, so tell us about your setup.

Can you replace a boiler while keeping my radiators?

Existing heating distribution may be reusable, but condition, required operating temperatures, controls and compatibility need assessment. The quote identifies what is kept, changed or addressed separately.

Do you install combi boilers?

Ask us to assess whether a combined space-heating and domestic-hot-water boiler suits your needs. Model availability, hot-water demand and system compatibility must be confirmed before it is included in the proposal.

My boiler is not heating. Should I request a new one?

Start with an assessment of the fault. Problems can involve controls, circulation, the appliance or other system components. We explain repair findings and compare replacement where it is justified.

What is included in boiler maintenance?

The checks, cleaning and service tasks depend on the equipment and agreed scope. We explain the visit price and inclusions before booking; replacement parts and additional repairs are agreed separately.

Does a new high-efficiency boiler guarantee lower bills?

No fixed saving is guaranteed. Heating demand, system design, operating conditions, fuel prices and equipment all affect running costs. Compare the full proposed installation rather than relying on the appliance rating alone.

How do I arrange boiler service in Niagara or Hamilton?

Call (905) 977-2220 and press 2, or send an enquiry with your city and symptoms. We serve Niagara and Hamilton, including Stoney Creek and Ancaster. Availability, fees and the appointment are confirmed separately.
